Journal About How To Grow In All Aspects of Life By Creating Mental Fight Clubs

I am a big fan of the movie "Fight Club". There is a lot to learn from that movie. One of the greatest lesson I took away is that every individual is involved in numerous fight clubs on a daily basis, be it a fight to get over the grief of losing a parent, fight to get a fit body, fight to have mental peace, fight to be better ta his job and so on. While one is involved in these fight clubs, you will notice all the rules of the Fight Applies to our mental fight club, starting with the most important Rule No. 1 "Not to Talk About our Fight Club", in different cultures it is suggested to not to share your plans before you achieve it for the same reason, since it tends to give you a fake satisfaction that you have already achieved your goal.

Let me share how you can interpret each rule of the fight club

1) You do not talk about Fight Club

2) You do not talk about Fight Club [Don't share about your plans with other before you start doing something about it by yourself ]

3) Someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over [Something that you started off but you lose interest in it, be it a startup idea or a course then its ok to let that go and go into another fight]

4) Only two guys to a fight [Do one thing at a time, do not bring all your fights at one time, when you study you study, you don't think about gym or play and vice versa]

5) One fight at a time [Take one fight at a time, be it about losing weight or getting good scores or anything else, having too many fights in mind might just clutter the mind]

6) No shirt, no shoes [Go all in, do not leave anything for later, just put your 100% and go raw, as if no one is watching you]

7) Fights will go on as long as they have to [You don't stop until your goal is achieved]

8) If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight [This is one of my favourites, you can't be just a spectator to someone else's fight, be in one yourself and only then decide if you can be part of your fight club.]

That said, here I am starting this blog on 29 May 2025, 28 days after I lost my Mom, who was my last strand of unconditional love in this world. Now, life doesn't feel the same anymore. Now it feels like I have got all the time in the world, but do not have will to achieve anything  or excitement to do anything. However, I know she would have loved to see me win in all of my fight clubs and hence, with that in mind I am creating my fight clubs.
